About the Artist
 Helena Borenius started with an empty living room wall. Her first work of art were three oil on canvas paintings that were perfect for the empty wall in the living room. Motivated by guests’ and friends’ compliments she started to paint more and now not only for her own empty walls.
Helena was born in Gothenburg, Sweden and currently resides in Ridgewood, NJ together with her husband and their two sons. She has a Masters in Science and Business Administration from the Gothenburg School of Economics and Commercial Law. After working in product management in Stuttgart, Germany for eight years she moved to the USA with her husband and son.
Her paintings are expressive in color and form and always with a distinctive texture that gives the painting life. Every piece of art is made with a special wall or room in mind. |
